This is probably wrong… but I did try to get the conversions as accurate as I could and double checked the recipe stuff with similar recipes in English. Also yep the icing recipe does call for raw egg whites and should be stored accordingly. I found an alternative recipe from the Martha Stewart site that used meringue power instead so if your someone who has a compromised immune system or a fear of certain bacterical food born illnesses you can check that out instead.
Oh also if you need self rising flour you can make it via this here how to on allrecipes.com.
I do plan on doing the other recipes from the Mook though honestly these things are so much harder for me to do then for the beauty ones… probably because i never actually bothered to learn vocabulary for cooking stuff and just the names of Japanese foods. :/
